She has curated many flavors while the boys helped, being taste testers and suggesting different ingredients and flavors.

Our Vision: Our vision is to see a world where no kids age out of foster care without the skills, abilities, and knowledge needed to become their best selves. We see a future where they are equipped and ready to start new family traditions of their very own.
The Connection
In late 2020 Kindra, as a single mom, adopted two of her four boys, ages 6 and 8, from foster care. However, helping youth has always been a part of her life, from tutoring and mentoring youth through various mechanisms to being a den mom in boy scouts. During the adoption process, she learned more about the youth in foster care experience and how they are sometimes moved through the system, from siblings being separated to kids who turn 18 and are released into society, often with only a trash bag of their belongings and a bus ticket. After she adopted her boys, she started working on a plan to help support them. However, as a single mom who was “not well off,” options were few. Then one day, as she was about to make a batch of drinks for some friends, she got the idea to commercialize the family drinks. She could help her family and give a percentage of sales to the youth aging out of foster care. In 2023 Brocks Family Drinks was formed.
